A Nigerian man has caused a scene as he requests a refund after mistakenly sending N2.3M instead of N2300 at a popular eatery, Chicken Republic in Offa Garage, Ilorin, Kwara State
In the viral video, the man explained that he only bought food worth N2,300.
Somehow, he allegedly ended up mistakenly transferring N2.3 million to the eatery’s account instead. He went on to say that he has been visiting the eatery repeatedly to request a refund of the balance, but they have been stalling, insisting that they must first fill out some important forms before any refund can be processed.
He was seen raising his voice and demanding that they give him his balance because the excess transfer was obviously a mistake.
The video captured the moment the man issued a stern warning to the restaurant staff, vowing to return and cause a bigger scene if his money is not refunded.
