A Nigerian lady, who is a die-hard K-drama lover, has been seen in a flood of tears after hearing the tragic news that her favorite Korean actor, Song Jae-lim, had passed away at the young age of 39.
The heartbreaking moment was captured in a viral video, shared by the lady’s friend and it ignited widespread reactions online.
Known and loved for his roles in popular K-dramas like ‘The Moon Embracing the Sun’, ‘Unkind Ladies’, ‘Two Weeks’ and ongoing series, ‘Queen Woo’, Song Jae-lim left an indelible mark on the hearts of fans worldwide, including his devoted fans in Nigeria.
He was found dead in his house at Seoul on Tuesday, November 12th 2024. According to the Seoul Seongdong police, Song’s body was found in his apartment by a friend, who had planned to have lunch with him that day.
The cause of his death remains unknown. His funeral is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, at Yeouido St Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall, with his younger sister named as the chief mourner.
Many fellow actors and fans have shared their sorrow over Song Jae Rim’s unexpected passing.
In the video featuring an audio conversation between the lady and her friend, she could be heard crying profusely as she expressed her disbelief upon hearing Song’s death.
In her words, “It’s a lie, he can’t just die like that, I can’t breath, Oh my God, I have lost my breathe.”
