Saloon car on top speed collide with truck on highway, 2 lives lost (WATCH VIDEO)
A tragic accident occured on a highway late in the
night on the streets of Lagos in Nigeria.
The accident which occured on November 24 involved a Mercedez Benz car and a truck.
In a video shared an X user who uses the handle @DrLove, it revealed that Benz car was on top speed and rammed into the truck that was negotiating a curve on the highway.
According to @DrLove, a lady who was seated at the front passenger side died instantly following the impact of the collision whilst the driver died due to severe injuries after being rushed to the hospital.
Dr Love gave the account of the accident as he shared images from the unfortunate incident. he wrote;
“If you watched the video properly, you’ll see that the traffic lights were green. Which may be why some people are pointing fingers at the truck driver. however, he was at a high speed and things happened too fast before he was able to think.
Most times, it’s gets to late to evade dangerous situations while driving on a high speed. You don’t want to put yourself into situations like this so, drive with a speed limit.
Warn friends and family. Live your life as slow as you can and enjoy every bit of it.
A 100 yrs is already too fast enough, you’ll be old before you know it. Life is short, don’t make it shorter than it already is.”
